A small pizza has a diameter of 21 cm. What is the approximate circumference of the pizza? Use π= 3.14.

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

@MonKiwi i got 65.94 by doing 3.14 x 21 am I correct?

Well, there are 2 formulas for circumference. Pi x diameter and Pi x radius x 2 So, diameter x pi, or 21 x 3.14 = 65.94 So yes, you would be correct :) Great job!

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

oh yay!

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

Thanks!

Thats actually sounds like a yummy pizza... if only it was in inches and not cm .-.

OpenStudy (gabbyalicorn):

XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it it was inches the diameter would be 3 inches off being 2 feet! That is a huge pizza!
