Okay, you have the right idea. But instead of saying "puse mi ropa...," you say Pongo mi ropa..." "Puse" would be used if they were asking "Where DID you put your clothes," but they're asking you "Where DO you put your clothes," so you would use "Pongo." 'Pongo mi ropa en mi armario'
