Simply solve for x. So you need to work to get x by itself on one side, and all the numbers on the other side. \[\frac{ x-3 }{ 2 } = -5\] So first you'll want to get rid of the divided by 2. So you do the opposite of that to both sides. So you multiply both sides by 2. What would that give you and what do you think you would do next?
