Can someone help me through this matrix problem??
can you help me @Kainui ?
heeelllllppppp
if my memory serves me write we write a 1 row 3 column matrix for the prices (3 5 7) - the price of the hammers , flashlights, lanterns pre-multiplying the product matrix by this price matrix gives the money taken in by each store for each product
i will help you but you got to help me
oh alright that makes sense, though i'm not sure how to multiply them
let me see it
what @maire2002 ?
let me see your
so multiplying thefirst column (Store A) by the price matrix gives Store A 30 15 14
multiplying the other 2 columns gives a 3*3 matrix of all the money taken in by the 3 stores the sum of the amounts in the middle column gives you total revenue for all flashlights
don't post your problems on my post!
Delete that @maire2002
* sorry THat's the MIDDLE ROW
do you see how i got the first column of the revenue matrix Store A 3 * 10 5 * 3 7 * 2
yes I understand now thank you so much! so what does the product matrix represent?
