Suppose that the amount of algae in a pond doubles every 6 hours. If the pond initially contains 50 pounds of algae, how much algae will be in the pond after 18 hours? pls tell me how to solve this :)

there are 3 doubling periods in 18 hours i.e \(18\div 6=3\) so it will doube 3 times
