first count how many marbles are in the bag
OpenStudy (readergirl12):
48
OpenStudy (anonymous):
now find how many non-white marbles there are
OpenStudy (readergirl12):
32
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok, so we divide the number of non white marbles over the total amount of marbles

This gives
32/48
OpenStudy (anonymous):
now simplify the fraction
OpenStudy (anonymous):
It's A because if you keep simplifing you get 1/3
OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (readergirl12):

32/48 divide both by 8 you get 8/24 then yo divide by 4 and you get 2/6. 2/6 divided by 2 is 1/3.
