I've never actually read this story. In your previous question, D was present. So which conflict was NOT present depends on the story. Character vs. nature is, for example, someone stuck in a storm or something similar. Character vs. society is a character vs society's norms, or what is seen as correct in society. Character vs. character is one character vs. another. Character vs. self is obviously a character dealing with an internal conflict, such as guilt or fear.
