Oliver will attend college where tuition is $30,000 a year. Books and supplies are $1500, housing and food are $12,500, transportation is $2000, and other expenses are $1300 a year. Oliver receives a scholarship for $18,000 a year and will get a student loan for $25,000 a year. He plans to get a work-study job to cover the balance. How much money does he need to earn? (30000+1500+12500+1300+2000)-(18000+25000)=4300

OpenStudy (lizz123):

If he gets 43,000 a year and you use 30000 of that for tuition it would leave you with 13,000 add all the other expenses together and they equal 17,300 taking away the 13,000 he has left he would need 4,300 to finish his yearly payments.
