Would you know how to simplify x+7x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have no idea :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you done any work with variables, or is this a no algebra clas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am in algebra 1 this review is hard for me :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, let's pretend the problem is x + 7x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7x means 7 times x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That means 7x = x+x+x+x+x+x+x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have one more x from the start so x+7x =8x
