Books are being banned through out the world and kept from people reading them. I believe that banned books are not a good idea. They can creat a very negative way towards children and teens but sometimes it helps them with their lives, in trouble or not, people have their own way of reviling things in such manner. Some people believes that books should be banned. In my opipion it shouldn't be bannded because f the effect it makes on the children and teenagers. Some parents don't want their children to read books because it sets their minds into fansty land and not into the real world, but that's not the only reason, some parents believes that the book would make their kids think, act, and talk bad, foul language. Sometimes books are what a child needs, perhapes it what a book makes the child happy. In my opipion books shouldn't be bannded because it takes the children away from life for a bit. Example, a kid who doesn't have friends may be sitting under a tree reading, Harry Potter series, The Giver, Flowers In The Attic, Farenhite 451. These books have been banned in some country known for it's "language", "violent", and for it's "wrong ways" of life. Some parents thinks that it will effect their future and their ways into the real world. When you take away a book, it's like your taking away the only way they can revile their true sleves to anyone. Conclusion When you pick a book you pick it because it's what you know what it's about, the thing with kids and teens today is that when they pick a book it's what and how they express themselves. People may add foul language but it's not the language that counts, it's what the story is about. The book may not teach them a lesson about real lives but at least it'll make their imagination grows and you know what they say, "The bigger the better." It expands the kids imagintion for good not for worst and it can help them with the real world, like with a job.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's my counterclaim.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe you should change your first sentence.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"When you pick a book you pick it because it's what you know what it's about." It is baffling.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand what you're trying to say.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My topic is about banned books.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I understand that, but your first sentence is confusing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You sound make it more tolerable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*should

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I wrote it like two months ago so I'm trying to fix it up a bit.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe you should say, "When you pick a book, you probably pick it out of curiosity".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. :) Do I need to change anything else?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, " The book may not teach them a lesson about real lives but at least it'll make their imagination grows and you know what they say"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Excuse me, I meant. " The book may not teach them a lesson about real lives but at least it'll make their imagination grows"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Books can teach you life lessons.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also, they're a lot of grammer problems.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*grammar.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And you're welcome. ^_^
