Ok so basically slope is rise over run. Run is along the x axes and rise is alone the y axes. First we find the run and to do this we are going to go from the 5 to the 2 which would be going backwards 3 times which would make the run -3. To find the rise you are going to rise up from the -3 point to the 6 which would be going up 9 units so the rise is 9. Now that we have the rise and the run 9/-3 we are going to simplify the fraction to -3. Here is a pic for added help http://m.imgur.com/P0xBqiz
