OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, and its really confusing :/ i just need an explanation

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

alright, lets deal with the -27/9 first how would you reduce this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ty sweetburger

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Division?.

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

yees @DeejNG you would simplify it through division

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

what does that become after division?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3?

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

yes sir now lets move to a^2/a what would that reduce to after division?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1? not sure

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

well kind of think about it like this by looking at my drawing|dw:1433268564396:dw| a^2 = a x a so if you take a x a/ a then 1 a cancels out
