Hi, I'm struggling to find arguments for an essay about Cultural Relativism. The basic thesis is, should cultural relativism be practiced in modern multicultural societies, and I'm arguing that they should not be practiced.

My arguments so far are that there are abnormal practices in some cultures that would affect society (honor killings, arranged marriages) and that many cultures involve prejudice against women, which is not something women in a modern society should experience. I need four arguments, and this is all I could think of.

If you were a lawyer defending Cultural Relativism, then what would you say to poke holes in your essay.  Then try and defend your answers.

But I'm not defending it, I'm against it. But I can't think of more than two reasons for why I am against it.
