I keep on losing SmartCents. Not just one or two, but I've lost 13 now in the past day, and throughout the day. I lost more the other day. I currently have 2,419 SmartCents and I had 2439 at the beginning of this week.

Really? I've heard that even if someone un-medals you, your cent still stays. I haven't tried it yet though to see for myself.

Well, medals and Smartcents are tied in one direction.  If you get a medal, you get a SmartCent and if you lose a medal, your SmartCents tally decreases.  If you EXCHANGE your SmartCents for a title, then your medal tally is not affected.
