I'll fan and give medal!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to draw it out real quick

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[A)\sqrt{12}+2^{{2}} \]\[B)10-\sqrt{18}\]\[C)\sqrt{15}-1^{2}\]\[D)\sqrt{3}+2\] 1. Between 7 and 8 2. Between 2 and 3 3. Between 3 and 4 4. Between 5 and 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Match each expression with its position on a number line.

@ganeshie8 @pooja195 @geerky42 @Data_LG2

geerky42 (geerky42):

Let's start with A. Clearly \(2^2 = 4\). But what about \(\sqrt{12}\)? Well, we know it is in between \(\sqrt9=3\) and \(\sqrt{16}=4\) So A is in between \(4 + 3\) and \(4+4\)

geerky42 (geerky42):

Is it clear what I did? Can you handle the rest?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so A is 1

geerky42 (geerky42):

Yep.

geerky42 (geerky42):

Do you know what B is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4?

geerky42 (geerky42):

Correct. C?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 and D is 3?

geerky42 (geerky42):

Yep there you go.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool thanks
