Help please?? Find the three arithmetic means between 10 and 18.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@YoungTrilogyFT3 can you help with this one too please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look at the example i gave you last time and see if you can try to figure out one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it supposed to be 10+18/2? If so what do I do next?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is 10 + 18?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

28

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then whatever that answer is you divide by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so that's 14. Now what do I do?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10 + 14 = then divide by 2 again

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so 24/2 so 12 and then do I do 10+12/2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no you add 14 and 18 and then divide by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so the answers are 12,14,16?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so for the future i think all you have to do is add the two numbers they give you and divide by 2 and then do the same things we just did so if it was 8 and 12 then you would add 8 and 12 which is 20 then divide it by 2 which would be 10 then you put 8 and 10 together which is 18 and divide it by 2 which is 9 and then i am pretty sure you add 10 and 12 which is 22 then divide by 2 which is 11 so the 3 answers would be 10,9 and 11 but that is what i just learned and figured out (if i am correct)
