Although “dog.jpg” and “dog.JPG” and “Dog.jpg” and “DOG.JPG” all appear to be the same file, they are not considered the same when programming web pages on the Internet. Why is that? The question statement gives you the answer, although a little misleading, as there are some operating systems that consider case in file names and some that do not. So it will really depend on what operating system you are using that will dictate whether those file names are different files or the same file.
