Welcome to OpenStudy!! Be sure to read the CoC and TaC. Now, I can help you with your question :) Do you know how to solve for x? Do you know what real numbers are and what no solution means?

i have no idea what im doing here :(

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

Well first distribut the -3 on both sides of teh equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is no solution Because through evaluating both equations. It comes to -9 = - 8 So it can't exist Thus there is no value
