Answer such questions by separate evaluation: A It reveals character personality details. That's true. Individual speech patterns can do this. B It allows one character to speak alone. I suppose. More Internal Dialogue, I would think. C It allows characters to be silent for a while. What? Exactly the opposite of what we are talking about. D It demonstrates action instead of speech. That's just silly.
