the accompanying data table lists measured voltage amounts supplied directly to a family's home. The power supply company states that it has a target power supply of 120 volts. Use a 0.10 significance level. I have found the test statistic which is 123.76. I just need to identify s, n, and u-x for the rest of the formula. The example I reviewed, the s=to 0.51 with a significance level of 0.01. My question was using a significance level of 0.10. I just didn’t know how they came up with 0.51 volts for the example using 0.01.
