How to find the significance level using 0.10 in volts rounding to two decimal places. I know by using 0.01 rounding to two decimal places is comes out to be 0.51 volts. Can anyone help???
not real sure what your asking about ...
the accompanying data table lists measured voltage amounts supplied directly to a family's home. The power supply company states that it has a target power supply of 120 volts. Use a 0.10 significance level. I have found the test statistic which is 123.76. I just need to identify s, n, and u-x for the rest of the formula. The example I reviewed, the s=to 0.51 with a significance level of 0.01. My question was using a significance level of 0.10. I just didn’t know how they came up with 0.51 volts for the example using 0.01.
S is the sample standard deviation
