Yoooooo
Are there 2 functions there?
No theres only 1
Why are there two equations on the graph
idk thats all the imformation they gave me up there......,
Ok I think because they gave you two equations because there are two lines but they just overlap meaning there are infinite solutions
I believe that this system is classified as consistent dependent BUT that doesn't to seem to be up there with your choices
everything they gave me is up there/..
When you simplify both equations you get the same equation so the answer is definetly consistent dependent x+y=2 y=-x+2 2x+2y=4 2y=-2x+4 y=-x+2
These are equivalent equations. The lines are actually the same line, and they 'cross' at infinitely many points (every point on the line). In this case, there are infinitely many solutions and the system is called dependent.
thx...
I would go with this and maybe ask your teacher tomorrow
Good luck!
