Which provides long-term energy storage? glycogen, because it is a polysaccharide glucagon, because it is a complex protein glucose, because it is a monosaccharide cellulose, because it is a complex carbohydrate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Lipids store energy. And Carbohydrates are a good energy source.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would it be Cellulose

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you good sir

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You are welcome. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and also I am a mam. But that's okay.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it is not cellulose. Glycogen is basically animal fat, and is many glucose molecules bounded together in a certain way. It allows for the storage of more glucose than otherwise possible for a few reasons I won't deal with. Gllucogon is used to cause the release of glucose into the blood stream. It is the drug given to people with dangerously low blood glucose levels. Glucose is a sugar, a monosaccharide. Cellulose is a complex of glucose that is one component that gives plants their structure.
