Have you ever heard of BIMDAS - brackets -> index -> multiplication -> division -> addition -> subtraction? This is the order of operations and how to deal with equations. So first you would do the multiplication (9*54), then the division (65/17), then the addition following the rule. Make sure you keep the brackets because it can get a bit confusing. Give it a try.
