A system of two equations is shown below: Equation C: a = 3b + 6 Equation D: a = 7b – 1 What value of a can be substituted into equation D to solve the system of equations? 3b 7b 3b + 6 7b – 1

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

what do you think ?

OpenStudy (spring98):

the last one! im not sure if this one is right though.

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

wrong let me explain it suppose there are two equations A : x= 2y+3 B : x= 3y +9 now you have to substitute one equation in to the other just put the value of x in equation A in Equation B at the place of x in equation A the value of x is 2y+3 now guess what will be the answer

OpenStudy (haseeb96):

Did you get it ?

OpenStudy (spring98):

the first one?

OpenStudy (spring98):

@Haseeb96

OpenStudy (spring98):
