I am taking grade 9 science and I have a test on cell reproduction, mitosis + meiosis, and also cell organelles. I understand mitosis and most of the organelles (except chromatin? my teacher just said it was gooey stuff that contained DNA) the only thing I am having trouble with is meiosis...
Anyways basically I need to know what "crossovers" are,
what the male and female gonads are,
what a matching pair of chromosomes are called,
and how many sets of chromosomes haploid and diploids have
