OpenStudy (amtran_bus):

Why is the derivative of e^5 = 0? My book says the derivative of e^x is e^x!

OpenStudy (zale101):

Because e^5 is just a number and any number is a constant and the derivative of a constant is zero. e^5=148.413159103

OpenStudy (amtran_bus):

thanks
