OpenStudy (torii897):

need help!!! what is the difference between certain and impossible events????????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

certain events are events that always occur when u perform the experiment in other words, their probability is 1 as they always happen. impossible events are events that will never occur no matter how many times u perform the experiment, in other words impossible events have a probability of 0 because they never happen

OpenStudy (torii897):

thank you soo much :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for example if u roll a 6 number die, the probability of a 7 appearing is 0, as the die does not have any 7, so it is an impossible event!

I'm sure u can think of more examples if u just think about it
