Solve the trig. Expression|dw:1433528041644:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

remember sin^2 theta =1-cos^2 theta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A; Cos theta B; 1+Cos theta C; 1-Cos theta D: 1- Cos theta/ cos theta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@imqwerty you got your pythagorean identity wrong. sin^2(x)+cos^2(x)=1 so you would subtract cos^2(x) to get sin^2(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So is it B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Cman456 did you type the answers correctly? you shouldn't be able to simplify any farther than (1-cos^2(x))/1+cosx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so what should the answer be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@imqwerty

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@arek

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1-cos theta

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@imqwerty ... thats not even a answer option... you have not given good answers..:/
