Anatomy/Physiology Question
Not me sorry
not American but i can totally help with anatomy and physiology questions young lad
Thanks! I'm being asked to "define lung volume and air pressure. Then describe how changes in lung volume and air pressure within the lungs allow inspiration and expiration to occur." I try to ask for someone who's taking the same class as me because this course is very odd and outside research doesn't usually correlate with what is taught in this course. But any help would be great!!
to begin with, lung volume is basically lung capacity so that speaks for itself. air pressure in science is like the weight of air acting on a object
"describe how changes in lung volume and air pressure within the lungs allow inspiration and expiration to occur." is basically asking you to describe the process of respiration (more or less)
so having a look at this should give you a good run down :) https://www.boundless.com/biology/textbooks/boundless-biology-textbook/the-respiratory-system-39/breathing-221/the-mechanics-of-human-breathing-838-12083/
