Hmmmm I'd prefer being a teenager during the Great Depression, due to it coming straight after the Boom of the twenties, society would be a much more interesting place and all the new technology would roll over from the previous decade. Being a teen during the First World War would be boring, and as a war it was less justified, being a teen during the depression would mean fighting in world War Two potentially as well but I think it's worth the risk as personally I would have gladly fought in World War 2 as Hitler was acting much, much worse than Kaiser Wilhelm.
