g(x) is same as y so first of all find y-intercept of de table

formula is \[\huge\rm \frac{ y_2 - y_1 }{ x_2 - x_1 }\]plug in x and y values u forgot something .-.
\[0 - 8 = -8 and 1 - (-1) = 2\] so we got -4 because \[- \frac{ 8 }{ 2 } = -4\]

now y = mx + b replace m by -4 plug in x and y values solve for b
okay so y = -4x +b 8 = -4(-1) + b 8 = 4 + b -4 - 4 4 = b b = 4
