which equation would you use to find how high the airplane is flying?
options A. cos 31= x/ 4872 B. tan 31= 4872/x C. tan 31= x/4872 D. cos 31= 4872/x
Ooooh this is a fun question. Love these. You would use a trigonometric ratio, a tangent in this case. So you would get out your texas instrument calculator, but first write this on a piece of paper: tan(31) = Opposite / Adjacent, which would be H for height over 4872. You would multiply both sides by 4872 and get 4872 times tan(31) = H. Type that into your calculator, and you should get 2927.4 nearest tenth feet.
do you understand? Any other questions, feel free to ask.
ok thankyou.
No problem! Glad I could help.
out of the 4 choices which one is it?
C.
can you answer this question also? Which of the following disjunctions is false? A) 4-3=2 or 6 x 3=9 B) 5 x 6= 30 or 3 +4=7 C) 8 +3 = 11 or 5 x 4 =23 D) 7 +6 = 13 or 5 x 2 = 10
