I am trying to switch from cartoonish-ish (xD) drawings to realistic. I can draw what I need, but I can't seem to shade correctly. Any tips? I'll post a finishing picture below and see if that helps you to know how I can improve. Thanks :)
Show meh chica :o
Give me a sec to finish x3 And I tried to use charcoal one time, and it was just TOO MESSY. Made the pic look terrible. So I just went to use a mechanical/regular pencil
Yup.

Your picture's traits are pretty impressive. However, the chin should be less wide.
I was thinking the same. I am drawing, right now, what I usually draw so you can see the difference
:o how long would dat take?
I finished but I don't have a good lighting now that it's dark (lights are dim in my house) so the pic is all like shiny
i dun caree....... lemme c *-*
Shade the way you would shade traditional manga.
