Find the measure of angle y. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth.
I would use tan^-1 but how would I type it into my calc to get the correct answer?

make sure your calculator is in degrees mode... there should be a D or DEG on the top of the screen... next press the 2nd or Shift key... depending on the calculator then press tan the screen should display \[\tan^{-1}(\] enter the fraction, close the brackets and press =
round the answer to 2 decimal places.
