What's the difference between an alloy and an ore?

An alloy is a mixture of 2 metals eg Brass is an alloy of zinc and copper bronze is an alloy of tin and copper An ore is a naturally occurring material from which a metal is extracted. for example haematite is one ore of iron and is mainly iron oxide. Bauxite is an ore of aluminium.
