If 0.375 A of current moves across the resistor shown (will attach!!), then what is the value of the resistor? A. 0.25 Ω B. 0.56 Ω C. 1.5 Ω D. 4.0 Ω

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

across the resistor the there is a voltage drop of 1.5 volts, so, using Ohm's law, we have: resistance= \[=R = \frac{{\Delta V}}{I}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok! what would we plug in? :/ 1.5/0.375 ? :/

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

ok!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the answer is 4? so choice D is our solution?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

that's right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yay! thanks!!:)

OpenStudy (michele_laino):
