Medal!!! how do you graph this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[f(x)=x^3-3x^2-2\]

OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

use your computer

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

the method really depends on what you know... 1. table of values.. 2. us calculus 3. use a graphing package 4. Don't worry

OpenStudy (misty1212):

or calculus

OpenStudy (misty1212):

http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=x%5E3-3x%5E2-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

without using a calculator or a computer i mean

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

a simple graphing package is https://www.desmos.com/calculator its easy to use

OpenStudy (misty1212):

by hand? not that easy for sure can you use calculus?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so do you know calculus..?

OpenStudy (misty1212):

lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no. and no.

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok... so its a table of values...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so just create a table of values and input the numbers into the equation and plot those points?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

that's correct... for the equation I'd suggest maybe x = -2 to x = 4 if you go beyond those values the numbers start to get a bit large...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, thank you!!!!
