Does anybody know what ± means? I'll medal.

OpenStudy (misty1212):

it is two numbers, plus or minus

OpenStudy (misty1212):

shorthand if you say \[x^2=25\\x=\pm5\] you really mean \[x=5\] or \[x=-5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okay. Thank you @misty1212

OpenStudy (astrophysics):
