Okay, so we have what is called an "isoceles triangle" because it has two sides that are equal. This means that the angles on the base of triangle must be equal. This is a property of an isoceles triangle wich you have to know. So, applying that propety we can make both angles equal: \[6x+8=9x-25\] Now, you can see we have created a single variable equation, and by now you should be able to solve these, so I won't go into details. all we do is take all the numbers with an "x" to one side of the "=" sign and the constants to the other, then operate: \[-3x=-33\] then it's just a matter of dividing both sides by "-3": \[x=\frac{ -33 }{ -3 }\] and as a result: \[x=11\] Now, in order to finish the exercise you have to take the angles and plug in "11" instead of "x".
