http://prntscr.com/7f0dk0 I like it and I think it's nice. But wow...30 bucks?!?! Can someone please explain why they are so expensive.
OS logic its a trend...like it is $2 for 1 simple question for QH help so 30 dollars is reasonable for a piece of paper
Those are OpensCourseWare certificates and I don't think Openstudy is still giving out those things. Openstudy collaborates with different schools long time ago that's why the had that. The only things that this site is giving now are the volunteer and recommendation letters. But again, I'm not 100% sure about this info.
These people just wanna make some cash.
openstudy is a company after all
^ Yeah. It's a corporation, and like any other corporation out there, it needs funds to be up and running. A site can't run on grants forever, it needs its own income.
he asked why its so expensive not why it needs money...
The #3 criteria for getting the certificate. Guess like I can't get it since no way I'll be getting 119 SS anytime soon :P And plus, I doubt that you can get those certificates anymore even if you paid. They should remove the option of being able to pay for it as you won't be able to even really meet the 2nd and 3rd criteria unless you're just answering the dead old questions :p I actually wonder how many people got a certificate from OpenStudy for completing any course found on http://www.openstudy.com/courses http://prntscr.com/7f620g B)
