What is the standard form of the equation of the given circle with center A(4, 8)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you have a picture of the circle? Or info for the radius?

Ok, well standard form of a circle is \[(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2\] with the h being the x value of the center point and the k being the y value of the center point.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know how to do this at all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug in h=4, k = 8, and r = 2.5 into that formula
