FAN AND MEDAL
Are the following examples of random samples? Why or why not? a. Asking people in an ice cream shop, if they like ice cream. b. Surveying middle school students on what their favorite high school course is. c. Completing a survey on whether people like shopping at Publix in front of Publix. d. Walking around to you neighbors to ask whether the new community center should get a pool or a tennis court.

ILL SAY A AND D
Here, I'll help you through a and then you try b. a is not random. If you ask people in an ice-cream shop whether or not they like ice-cream, you'll get a large majority of yes's. But that doesn't mean everybody like ice-cream, just because they did. It isn't random if there is a bias.
all but A and C is random.
