WILL GIVE MEDAL! Find the range and mean of each data set. Use your results to compare the two data sets. Set C: 4.5 7.1 8.3 6.9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well range is the difference between the highest and lowest value. Your highest value is 8.3 and your lowest is 4.5 The range would be \[8.3-4.5\] which equals 3.9 3.9 should be the range

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The mean is just another name for the average so you have to add all of the numbers and divide by the number of numbers you have. It should look like this \[\frac{ 4.5+7.1+8.3+6.9 }{ 4 }\] *you divide by 4 since there are 4 values*

Okay so what did you get?

@tbeneka 6.7

Yup that's what I got good job :D then you can just compare the mean and range by showing the difference
