OpenStudy (exoticinspirit):

In your opinion what is the best mnemonic to use for memorizing complex vocabulary words?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I like thinking of a vivid mental image or story. Let's say you want to memorize "truculent," which means prone to anger & arguing. Think of being really really careful driving a truck someone lent, since whenever you think of them you say to yourself "you'll go berserk if I wreck the truck you lent." Sounds stupid but it works for me.

OpenStudy (jack1):

wouldnt u want to use it in the sentence so u have a better chance of remembering the meaning?
