fan and medal to check my answer A company is looking to design a new cover for their smartphone. The scale drawing of the design is shown below. The coordinates of the actual cover are: H' (10,0); I' (0, 0); J' (0, 16); K' (10,16). Is the design of the cover similar to the actual cover?

Yes; the corresponding sides are proportional. No; the corresponding sides are not proportional. Yes; the corresponding angles are proportional. i think this jaun No; the corresponding angles are not proportional.

Hi. For the cover to be similar to the actual cover, the cover needs retain it's shape and scale. For a visual, have you tried plotting the points of the actual cover on the same plot as the model cover?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i already know what it looks like.. i just wanna know if its angles cuz the angles look the same to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The actual coordinates that were given to you make a box, all the angles are 90 degrees, you are correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now you must make sure that the sides of the box all scaled together.

thank you so much
