Which measure of center or spread represent the given situation? More players on the basketball team are 6 feet tall than any other height. A. Mean B. Median C. Mode D. Range
@aminamoazzam @shadow13 @Jravenv @Mehek14
@ZaneMarcs @Phebe @geny55 @unrealjesse @TheSmartOne
I think its b
Ok @Jravenv thanks for the help
Median means middle so i dont think its B
im going with Mean
Subtracting biggest from largest
Mean is the average, range is subtracting biggest from largest.
Thanks guys
ok my bad then your answer is Range then
an WELCOMEZZ
All of your answers are wrong. And direct answers are not allowed either.
@Ashleyistheboss2 Put some effort into your own question. Do you know what each of the following terms mean? Mean Median Mode Range
@TheSmartOne You don't know what you are talking about because my answers were correct. So you need to put some more effort into knowing what you are talking about before you say something.
Lol, then what was the correct answer?
And I don't see you putting any effort into your own question or showing any work. You just sit here, post your your question and expect people to come by and give you an answer. You might want to take a look at the Code of Conduct, http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct And all the answers mentioned so far are wrong. Unless your school doesn't know the definition of them either and has a wrong answer set up then that should be their concern.
The answer was range and i don't want to lok at you little code my school know what they are doing i don't know or really care if you know or not. And i do my own work when i do post stuff on here that is because i might not know the answer or tryinng to make sure the answer is corrct so you need to get your facts straight @TheSmartOne
Seems like your school doesn't know anything. The actual answer should be Mode. And if you don't want to look at that link, not even a "little code," then that is not of my concern but yours. When you get warned or suspended for breaking the Code of Conduct then you will regret not reading it. And if you don't know the answer to a question, you can put in some effort by at least telling what you don't understand about it, providing formulas needed to answer it, etc.
And if you need your answer checked, then you can at least show your work of how you arrived at that answer.
I do that i might not do it i on here. my school know alot so i'm going to one of the best schools so you can just keep your thoughts to yourself
Well obviously your school keeps everything they know to themselves. Since it's one of the best schools, they should at least try to teach some of their students which I dooubt is happening.
We shouldnt be argueing about this!!!! she got her answer @Ashleyistheboss2 next time just pick one of the answer choices you think is right n tag me I'll help @TheSmartOne I know your trying to follow rules but no need to argue about this . She's alright
Lol.
Phebe, you might as well read the Code of Conduct since you yourself gave a direct answer. http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct
@TheSmartOne Yeah i know i made a mistake by giving her the answer but atleast i explained it to her I dont need to read the COC thank you buddy Nice Try
@Phebe you are right this is stupit but i'm not the one who started but i am going to be the bigger person and not say anything else to @thesmartone
