If enough changes occur in the gene pool of a species, it is possible that a new species would be created. True? False?

Of course :) Mutations (not all of which are deleterious or neutral, but rather advantageous) lead to speciation. If changes occur (and re-occur) then a new species will eventually evolve. As long as it doesn't encounter a population bottleneck or something :)
