there you go
OpenStudy (mahmood786123):

oregonduck (oregonduck):
YAY thxs
OpenStudy (anonymous):
this is the working they showed me 5x^2 - 45 = 0
1. divide by 5
5(x^2 - 9) = 0
2. It's easy to factor the x^ - 9 polynomial!
x^2- 9 = (x+3)(x-3)
you can check this with FOIL if you want, but I promise it's right!
So, the answer is:
5(x+3)(x-3)=0
x = 3, -3
