Marcus spent 10 hours doing his homework last week. This week he spent 11 hours doing homework. He says that he spent 110% more time doing homework this week. Is he correct? Show your work to justify your decision. And this is a practice essay so it needs to be justified in words how I got the same answer as Marcus ( and yes I know he is right)

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! WILL FAN AND MEDAL!!

if he spent ten hours last week then the 10 hours is the max amount he has to pass so in fraction wise he has x/10 (a number over ten) from last week if he worked 11 hours this week then it would turn out with 11/10 (eleven over ten) witch means he has already passed the 100% he needed and with 1/10 left you just need 9 more so the equation to do that would be 11 divided by 10 equaling 1.1 then to turn a decimal into a percentage move the dot 2 spaces to the right making it 110%
