Which answer describes the simpler problems that could be used to solve this story problem? Alice made $1,245 one summer. She spent $120 on a new bike. She spent twice as much on a plane ticket to New York as she spent on her bike. How much money did Alice have left? A. Calculate the cost of the plane ticket. Add that number to the cost of the bike. Subtract the sum from $1,245. B. Calculate the cost of the plane ticket. Multiply it by 2. Add the cost of the bike. Subtract the sum from $1,245. C. Calculate how much more Alice spent on the plane ticket than the bike.

could fit C and D words so i will type it here is C.Calculate how much more Alice spent on the plane ticket than the bike. Multiply this amount by the number of plane tickets. Add the 2 amounts.

and then D.Calculate how much more Alice spent on the plane ticket than the bike. Multiply this amount by the number of plane tickets. Subtract this number from $1,245.

i believe its A because C and D are wrong cause it says she just bought a ticket for herself so you wouldn't need to multiply by the number of people and B is just wrong calculations so i think it is A
